Porsche 911 |
Porsche begin selling a renewed version of 911. By now it is presented in two options for bodywork, Coupe and Cabriolet and at two levels of power, Career and Career S.
The Race has an engine of 3.6 liters that paid 345 CV of power. With the new automatic gearbox, its average consumption approved is 9.8 liters per 100 km.
The Carrera S has an engine of 3.8 liters reaches the 385 CV of power. This version with the new gearbox has a with consumption of 11.0 liters per 100 km and reaches a maximum speed slightly more than 300 km/h. That is, the new Carrera S is faster and has a lower consumption that the model that is still sells, which has 355 CV, spends 11.5 liters.
The engines which have 911 Career and Carrera S are the same type than before, in terms that has six cylinders and provision boxer.
Porsche refers to its new gearbox double clutch as –KDP-. Has seven speeds and two modes of operation; one completely automatic and another in which the driver can select marches from a few controls placed on the steering wheel or from the own lever that there are situated between the seats. This change of marches replaces the -Tiptronic S- that have the current models. (more…)
